Space Coast Canal & Waterway Depth Reference

The most expensive mistake a waterfront buyer can make is buying a canal the boat can’t use. Enter your boat’s draft and see which Space Coast waterways fit.

In feet. Leave blank to browse all depths.

Read this before you trust any depth number

Depths shown are typical approximate ranges at normal water levels, not survey data and not for navigation. The Indian River Lagoon system has almost no lunar tide; water levels swing with wind, season, and rainfall, and a strong west wind can take a foot or more out of a canal. Shoaling changes after storms, and depth at the seawall often differs from depth mid-canal.

Before you buy any waterfront home, verify depth at the dock at low water, in person, for your specific boat. I do this with my buyers, it takes an hour and it can save you the whole purchase.

Buying waterfront? Verify before you write the offer.

I check depths, seawalls, and bridge routes with my buyers before they commit. Tell me the boat you have, or the boat you want, and I’ll tell you which neighborhoods to look at.
